NJANSA Scholarship
The NJANSA scholarship was instituted in 2012. It is open to any undergraduate student attending a college or university that holds a membership in NJANSA, the New Jersey Association of New Student Advocates. NJANSA supports the work of faculty and staff at colleges and universities in New Jersey who serve first-year students and students in transition; the recipients of this scholarship will demonstrate their participation in and proficiency with activities associated with the first-year experience and college success, such as first-year seminar, orientation, peer mentoring, and other activities that are associated with first-year and transfer programs and events.
In 2013 at the 4th Biennial Conference NJANSA awarded its first two scholarship recipients with $500 each.
